Alice Clark, a long time resident of Shelter Island, has over 16 years of experience planning non-profit and corporate meetings and events. Most recently she was the Manager, Board Governance and Membership at the Graduate Management Admission Council (owner of the GMAT exam) in Reston, Virginia where she planned complex domestic and international board and executive level meetings, conferences, and member events. In addition to planning meetings and events she served as board liaison, managing the board governance and membership functions at the organization. Prior to her time at GMAC, she held positions with the Passenger Vessel Association, U.S. Senator David Pryor, and U.S. Senator Dale Bumpers.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Harding University. Alice resides with her husband Briton on Shelter Island and is the mother of two marvelous daughters, Cameron and Amelia.
