Place-based learning abounds at Sylvester Manor, where our entire campus is available for teachers, educators and students. We invite you to explore, whether it’s with your class or for your own professional development. There are endless possibilities from ecology lessons down by the Creek, engineering and simple machinery inside the historic 1810 Windmill, hands-on agricultural experiences at the farm, history and heritage research in our collection, sustainability planning with the Clean Water Project, photography and artistic expression throughout the beautiful grounds, and so much more.
