Preserving, cultivating and sharing historic Sylvester Manor includes achieving permanent conservation of 121 acres, restoration of the 1810 Windmill, and commencement of the multi-year rehabilitation of the 1737 Manor House.
A uniquely intact historic site of conscience, Sylvester Manor ensures that histories of the Indigenous, Enslaved and Free People of Color join with those of European-descent for a more complete narrative of past and present.
Sylvester Manor has been actively farming over 60 acres with vegetables, fruit and livestock since 2008.
Just east of the main entrance, at 21 Manwaring Road, our seasonal Farmstand features Sylvester Manor grown produce as well as other local products.
