Ginny loves to design, build and organize things…whether it be wooden boats, filing systems, a snappy slogan for an ad campaign, or relationships within the community. Ginny brings with her a diverse collection of skills and work experience to the office at Sylvester Manor.
Having attended SUNY Cobleskill Ag & Tech, Ginny earned an Associate Degree in Animal Science and additional credentials from the British Horse Society, leading to her work as an equestrian instructor and horse trainer for the next 20 years.
At the same time, with an aptitude for drawing and early experiences helping her dad with household carpentry projects, Ginny pursued her interest in wood crafts and architecture by obtaining a certificate in Architectural Drafting, leading ultimately to a 30-year career in graphic communications, encompassing print publishing, website design and commercial signage design and production.
With roots on Long Island’s north shore, Ginny is still fascinated by all things natural and nautical. Acutely aware of the importance of nature in our day to day lives, she marched in the very first Earth Day and continues to advocate for sustainable living and development.
