Sabrina Simon has big BIG farm dreams, and is so excited to be at Sylvester Manor getting started on taking the farm world by storm. Growing up near D.C. and Baltimore she saw the broad racial injustices including food scarcity and poverty. She is inspired to be apart of the change in her communities and intends on opening a non-profit recreational center that will focus on sustainable agriculture and architecture along with offering before and after day care, yoga and a parent-child classes for general wellness. Sabrina is on her journey of learning the fundamentals of sustainable and holistic practices so she can incorporate them into her dream non-profit organization. First, she traveled to India to become a yoga practitioner and now she is apprenticing at Sylvester Manor where she will learn the ins and outs of small-scale farming. She cannot wait to bring all of these skill together in order to be the change she wants to see in her community!
