Sylvester Manor invites you to quiet your mind, expand your heart, and raise your energy in a four-week meditation series.

In the beautiful outdoor setting by Gardiner’s Creek, these classes take place on four Saturdays in July.

You will gradually learn mindfulness meditation fundamentals that will allow you to foster a long-term personal practice. These mental development tools are key to understanding, accepting, and overcoming one’s challenges and, by doing so, promote a pathway to greater harmony and peace of mind.

The fee for the four-class series is $200. 30% of the proceeds will be donated to Sylvester Manor. No one will be turned away; if finances are an issue, just reach out to instructor Jean-Sébastien Brettes. In case of inclement weather, sessions will be postponed to another day or held via Zoom.

See what past participants have to say about the workshop:

  • Sebastien’s meditation workshop was incredibly thorough even though it consisted of only four sessions. The content was presented in a clear manner and contained both theoretical principals and guidance in the practical use of meditation as an anchor for daily behavior. Sebastien’s delivery was calm, compassionate, and intelligent and he was accepting of all levels of familiarity with meditation. I highly recommend this workshop to the beginner as well as the seasoned meditator.
  • This meditation series directly impacted and improved my wellness and broad a deeper understanding of meditation to not only my self-care routine but to my entire world. Even my family and children are yielding benefits from a calmer mom.
  • Being a first timer, I feel it’s been helpful on a daily basis now.
  • Gorgeous location and I wish the series would continue.
  • I felt well equipped to meditate on my own.
  • Content was presented in a clear, step-wise fashion.
  • The content was both theoretical and practical, and very thorough.
  • Beautifully guided series with great take away value that has impacted my life and lowered my stress level.
  • It was in a beautiful setting and the pace and content were perfect!
