Barbara Thomas ( has been painting in the East End for nearly 40 years, concentrating on landscape and garden portraiture. Barbara studied at Art Students League (under the tutelage of Edwin Dickinson, American Naturalist Painter, 1898-1978), and at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY. She holds an MFA degree from Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University.

Barbara also teaches painting at The Parrish Art Museum, Water Mill, and Guild Hall, East Hampton, as well as other venues.
