Alix grew up in Quogue, NY and when she is not backpacking and farming abroad, she now lives in Cutchogue and enjoys sailing, waterskiing, and hiking. After graduating with an Environmental Studies and Sustainability degree from George Washington University in 2016, Alix worked briefly in government before she left the desk to get her hands dirtier. She backpacked around Europe and then New Zealand, WWOOFing and living out of her car. Despite her best efforts, the East End’s siren lured her back for a summer, farming at Sang Lee in Peconic. When the weather turned, Alix headed back to JFK, this time to scuba dive, rock climb, and mountain bike through Vietnam and Thailand. Tired of living out of a bag, she is now living and working between her two home forks on Sylvester Manor.
